Theme park fans get set, three of Abu Dhabi’s top family entertainment attractions on Yas Island are set to re-open to the public on Wednesday 29 July 2020.
After temporarily closing on 15 March 2020 due to Covid-19 safety measures, the Yas Island theme park trio of Ferrari World, Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi and CLYMB will reopen at 30% capacity. As a token of appreciation, Annual Passholders will get early access to the Theme Parks and CLYMB from Tuesday, 28 July 2020.
What to expect at the Yas Island theme parks post-covid
There will be stringent new safety measures in place across the theme parks and CLYMB to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests and staff.
Safety measures in place include:
- Mandatory online booking for all guests including Annual Passholders to ensure that the limited capacity of 30% is adhered to
- Thermal screening cameras
- Safe distance markers at all rides and outlets
- Modified ride capacity and modified dining and shopping experiences.
- Character meet and greets will be temporarily unavailable
Select experiences that draw large group gatherings across Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World and CLYMB, including shows and spectaculars are set to return at a later date. Upon their return, staged shows will also be altered with mandatory physical distancing.
How you can make it a safe experience for everyone
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World and CLYMB also encourage guests to play their part in these safety measures by wearing face masks at all times, sanitizing hands regularly and choosing contactless payment at all outlets.
Furthermore, guests are advised to download the respective smartphone apps for each park to enhance their contactless experience when they visit.
- Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- CLYMB will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
In order to control numbers, it is mandatory for all guests to pre-purchase tickets or pre-register if you’re an Annual Passholder. At present, there are no summer specials or resident discounts on tickets.
Upon booking their tickets online, guests will receive a confirmation e-mail that details the health and safety measures they can expect, allowing them to familiarize themselves ahead of time.
Guests coming from Dubai will still need to pass the Abu Dhabi / Dubai border control procedures. There is no Yas shuttle service presently running.
As well as early access back to the theme parks, Annual Passholders will receive an extension on the validity of their annual pass to account for the duration the Yas theme parks have been temporarily closed, since 15 March 2020.
To receive this extension, please call Yas Concierge on 600 511115 who can facilitate this for you.
