Hauntingly Good Halloween Celebrations in Abu Dhabi

by Abu Dhabi Travel Planner Team

The sunny skies and marginally milder days that descend upon Abu Dhabi in October might be deceiving, but make no mistake; Halloween is a Fall seasonal celebration that’s embraced in Abu Dhabi and the UAE!

Local children will undertake “traditional” trick or treat on the evening of 31 October, especially in the expat housing estates. However, elsewhere in the city, there are plenty of other ways to celebrate the spooky month and get dressed up for the occasion in the weeks prior.

Note we will not get updates on what is running in 2024 until around early October – venues are notoriously slow to advertise in Abu Dhabi! The listing below includes events that were on in 2023 to help you plan your special night!

From family events to grown-up-only evenings, here’s what you can expect from Halloween and Day of the Dead celebrations in Abu Dhabi this October.
