How to Have a Hauntingly Good Halloween in Abu Dhabi!

by Abu Dhabi Travel Planner

The sunny skies and marginally milder days that descend upon Abu Dhabi in October might be deceiving, but make no mistake; Halloween is a fall seasonal celebration that’s embraced in Abu Dhabi and the UAE!

Local children will undertake “traditional” trick or treat on the evening of 31 October, especially in the expat housing estates. However, elsewhere in the city, there are plenty of other ways to celebrate the spooky month and get dressed up for the occasion in the weeks prior.

Note that whilst mask rules have been dropped in Abu Dhabi for indoor events, a green pass on Al Hosn is still required for all those over 16 at any public spaces or events.

From family events to grown-up-only evenings, here’s what you can expect from Halloween and Day of the Dead celebrations in Abu Dhabi this October.
