It’s hard not to get caught up in the excitement and colour of Holi celebrations, regardless of your religion! With such a large Hindu population in Abu Dhabi, it’s no surprise that the occasion is marked in the capital.
Holi in 2026 will fall on 4 March; however, being during the Holy Month of Ramadan in the UAE, events may occur later in March. We have published below the events we are aware of so far, but more may follow.

Festivals for Holi in Abu Dhabi 2026
Holi Colors of Friendship
When: (rescheduled) Sunday, 15 March 2026 from 10 AM to 6:00 PM
This is a wonderful, colorful family event on Hudayriyat Beach, hosted by IBPG, managed by Red Dot events.
Delicious food, live music, and family entertainment await.
Tickets are AED 40 for those over 10 years; under 10s are free.
Tickets can be purchased from IBPG
Kids 6 to 12 years are AED 30, 13+ through adults, AED 50 (under 5’s, free)
Color Splash
When: Saturday 28 March, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Held at Yas Gateway Park North, Color Splash will feature a huge lineup of local and international DJs. Expect massive color throws, along with licensed food and beverage stalls where you can enjoy your festive celebrations in the sun.
A separate kids’ play area and sweet treats will also be available.
Tickets are just AED 40, students AED 35.
Heading to Dubai? There are, generally speaking, larger Holi Events in Dubai held over the month of March.
Holi Dining Deals in Abu Dhabi (TBC 2026)
There are plenty more ways to enjoy the festivities of Holi with these colourful dining deals in Abu Dhabi. Look out for:
- Indigo Restaurant at Beach Rotana will be offering up a special menu for lunch (12:00 pm to 3:00 pm) and dinner (6:30 pm to 12:00 am) on 8 March.TBC in 2026
- Namak at Dusit Thani is offering a 4-course set menu on 8 March from 175AED per person from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on 8 March. TBC in 2026
