Get between Abu Dhabi’s top tourist attractions for FREE! Here’s how….
In an exciting announcement by DCT Abu Dhabi this week, a fleet of minibuses will operate across the city for shuttling tourists between top Abu Dhabi tourist destinations.
The Visit Abu Dhabi Shuttle Bus fleet will be easy to spot with their brightly-coloured livery. The buses themselves are equipped with comfortable seating, wifi access, accessible seating for wheelchairs, and, of course, air conditioning.
Where do the Visit Abu Dhabi shuttle buses stop?
There are two key routes operated with 18 stops.
Route A: Saadiyat Island to the Grand Mosque
- Jumeirah at Saadiyat
- Park Hyatt Saadiyat
- Rixos Saadiyat
- Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas
- Mamsha Al Saadiyat (Soul Beach)
- Louvre Abu Dhabi
- Qasr al Hosn
- Etihad Towers
- Qasr Al Watan
- Andaz Capital Gate
- Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Route B: Between the Bridges (Khor al Maqta) to Yas Island
- Fairmont Bab Al Bahr
- Shangri-La Hotel
- Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
- Eastern Mangroves
- Abu Dhabi Bus Station
- Qasr Al Watan
- Marina Mall Station
- Louvre Abu Dhabi

Who can use the Visit Abu Dhabi Shuttle Bus?
The shuttle bus service is open to both local and international tourists to Abu Dhabi.
What does the Visit Abu Dhabi Shuttle Bus cost?
If you hold a ticket for a tourist attraction in Abu Dhabi that day, your transport is completely free!
Once you have booked your hotel stay or admission tickets for any Abu Dhabi attraction USING THE VISIT ABU DHABI ONLINE BOOKING PLATFORM ,then you will receive a voucher with a QR Code that gives you access to the shuttle bus online platform.
Register your details, and you can view the closest shuttle bus station and even track how close the nearest shuttle bus is to you.
What are my other transport options in Abu Dhabi?
If the free shuttle services don’t quite align with your plans or you’re in a rush, there are plenty of other public transport options in Abu Dhabi, including the local bus network, taxis, Careem private vehicle hire, and even boats!
- You could alternatively use the Abu Dhabi Hop-on-hop-off Big Bus, which includes recorded commentary and runs in a circular loop around many of the city’s key attractions. It does, however, come with a charge in addition to your attraction tickets.
If you are heading to Expo 2020 from Dubai, there are also FREE Expo Rider buses operating from Abu Dhabi Bus Station and Marina Mall Abu Dhabi.
