So, based on press releases we have and to the best of our knowledge, these are the prime locations where you can catch spectacular free fireworks shows to ring in the new year 2026 at midnight:

New Year’s Eve at Al Wathba 2025-26
Last year, the longest fireworks show set a Guinness World Record. Combined with an amazing drone and laser show, this is bound to be another incredible show-stopper and family-friendly way to experience Emirati culture on NYE.
We await exact details for the 2026 NYE lineup at the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba.
Based on last year, the evening will be filled with many events focusing on the Heritage Village, including a performance of Al Razfa and Ayala dances. Children can be kept entertained at Fun Fair City, the House of Horror, and activities run by Al Forsan International Sports Resort.
Enjoy the World Civilisations Parade with lively folkloric performances, which are a usual fixture of this nightly event.
New Year’s Eve on Yas Island 2025-26
Several entertainment venues across Yas Island compete for the party crowd, including the vibrant new waterfront destination Yas Bay, which will offer front-row fireworks seats.
