One of the city’s most loved festivals is returning this winter with not one but 3 locations spread across Abu Dhabi
MOTN (Mother of the Nation) Festival
The Mother of Nation Festival, paying tribute to HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak will return for its 8th edition in November and December 2024.
Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism โ Abu Dhabi, this popular family event will be held at:
- Al Dhafra – 28 November to 2 December 2024
- Al Ain – 28 November to 2 December 2024
- Abu Dhabi Corniche – 6 to 31 December 2024
MOTN – What it’s all About?
The MOTN event pays tribute to family, community, and the contributions of women to society, honouring the legacy of HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
MOTN – What to Expect
A community event for all to enjoy – locals, expat residents and tourists alike – the MOTN festival is an entertainment destination showcasing global and local culture and hospitality alongside leading retail outlets and the creative works of various international and regional artists.
Here are some highlights that we’ve heard about!
- Al Ain will host the world’s largest inflatable obstacle course – with 42 obstacles and 300 metres of bouncing fun to enjoy!
- In Al Ain, expect loads of carnival-style rides as well as an exclusive horror escape room experience.
- The Corniche in Abu Dhabi will be split into four zones – Amuse, Thrill, Indulge and Entertain. Highlights include
- Topsy-turvy Upside Down House Museum
- Skate by RollDXB
- Spacetoon Land
- Omega Protocol VR Experience
- Movies in the Park
- New Years Eve Concert

MOTN – What does it cost?
Paid tickets are required for all attendees aged 4 to 59. Those under 4 and over 60, as well as People of Determination, are free, but must collect an entry pass at the venue.

- 22 to 26 November 2023, from 4:00 PM to midnight
- Madinat Zayed Park
Al Ain
- AED 30, AED 100 (day pass), AED 130 (monster inflatable pass), AED 390 (family & friends 4 pack).
- 29 November to 3 December 2023, from 4:00 PM to midnight
- Al Ain Square, Al Tiwayya
Abu Dhabi Corniche
These have yet be formally announces for 2024- we’ve left last year’s pricing for now:
- AED 30, AED 150 (day pass), AED 180 (monster inflatable pass), AED 495 season pass, AED 540 (family & friends 4 pack).
