A great spot to eat Al Fresco, Art House Cafe in Al Bandar serves up a range of breakfast favourites and some up-to-the-minute combinations of their own in a relaxed atmosphere. This is an excellent choice for families as children (and even adults) can paint their own plates whilst waiting for their meal. Thereโ€™s also plenty of space for little ones to play and scoot around the plaza.

The Popular Circle Cafe serves up a storm every Sunday, with all-you-can-eat breakfast available from 8.00 am until 4.00 pm and priced at just 65 AED! The price includes unlimited food and one cup of tea or coffee. Dishes include a full English breakfast, avocado toast, eggs Benedict, pancakes and many others!

A great option for health-conscious breakfast lovers without having to compromise on taste, Alkalime offers a range of delicious egg-based dishes from Mexican-style huevos rancheros to tasty omelettes and Shakshuka. There is also a range of cakes and pastries, many of which are suitable for vegans. Alkalime also caters to people following a keto or paleo diet.

This gourmet deli and cafe is the perfect place for a long, leisurely breakfast. Located in the Khalidiya area of the city, this is the perfect place to grab brekkie downtown.

The main menu includes everything from wholemeal croissants to breakfast burritos. Prices start at just 22 AED. Breakfast combos are also available, including a hot beverage or juice and a food item. These include things like chia, berry, kiwi and coconut pot, Bircher muesli, and smoked salmon and buckwheat pancakes.

The Irish Vickers

This popular Irish pub offers an all-you-can-eat Pork breakfast buffet for just 79 AED from 10.00 am until 1.00 pm every Sunday.

Located in The Hub at the WTC Mall, just set back from Abu Dhabiโ€™s Corniche, this is another great choice if youโ€™re staying in the downtown area. It is also one of the few restaurants in the city offering pork.

Easy Tiger

Another venue offering a pork breakfast is Easy Tiger. This evening entertainment hotspot is located in the Al Ain Palace Hotel and offers an amazing Sunday breakfast. The full English is worth writing home about, although there are also some great halal and vegan alternatives. Thereโ€™s currently a special offer for 139 AED, including two drinks.

Broadway Sunday Roast

Although it’s exclusively a roast menu, you could equally classify this luxurious lunch as a Brunch. It’s really a whole package deal with starters, unlimited drinks, and a dessertโ€”a feast worthy of the palatial surroundings in Emirates Palace.

Broadway is a classy, 1920s-style American brasserie that makes a brilliant setting for your Sunday family roast. Kids are only charged AED 90 and get entertainment from Kids Palace staff, while adults are charged AED 295 with mocktails or AED 365 with house drinks.

Prices start at AED 390 for the mocktail package, rising to AED 640 for the champagne package. This is a more expensive brunch but well worth the price.

You can choose from the incredible Craft Roast Bowl, uniquely served in an extra-large Yorkshire Pudding with Lamb or Chicken, or traditional gastro-pub dishes such as Beer-Battered Fish and chips (from their homemade brews) or Smoked Rib Pieโ€”dishes range from AED 115 to AED 128.

The Crafty Fox

Taking over from Hickory’s (now Villa Selene) at Yas Links is the Sunday Roast at Crafty Fox. The price has gone up, the space has shrunk and no more kids activities on the lawn; we’re waiting to check this one out to see if its still worth it – the views across the mangroves here can be worth it though if you’re looking for dining with a view.

The Sportsmanโ€™s Arms

The Sportsman’s Arms is another fantastic venue for a traditional British Sunday Roast. The roast in this American-Irish-style pub is so good that it has won awards.

Alongside roast chicken, beef or lamb, you can expect fluffy Yorkshire puddings, a variety of vegetables and lots of delicious gravy, all for just 85 AED. As itโ€™s a sports bar, itโ€™s also one of the best places to catch your favourite team on a Sunday afternoon.

Lock, Stock & Barrel

LSB in Yas Bay Waterfront serves up a cracking roast on Sundays from 2.00 pm. As well as roasted meats, you can enjoy homemade Yorkshire puddings and delicious cauliflower cheese. 150 AED, including one complimentary drink.

The waterfront location is perfect if you fancy an after-lunch walk around the bay or a change of venue for cocktails at sundown. (NB note the current hoarding along Yas Bay is kind ruining the ambience at present)

Ma Buckleys

A relative newcomer to the Abu Dhabi dining scene, this waterfront Irish Pub is trying hard to impress with its gastropub-style dishes and Iconic Sunday Roast (available both Saturday and Sunday).

Very reasonably priced at AED 99, you get one house beverage alongside a hearty feast of crispy roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, and honey-glazed carrots and parsnips, served with their signature Yorkshire pudding and homemade red wine gravy.

Central Roast n’ Roll

Our favourite family restaurant in Abu Dhabi has come up with another smashing deal to bowl you overโ€”the Rock N’ Roll Sunday Roast. While you tuck into your roast (beef, chicken, lamb or vegetarian), you’ll be entertained by live band The Ark.

Adults pay just 135 AED for a main with 1 beverage, while kids get a smaller version and pay 85 AED, which includes a drink and gaming credits. This is even better value than the BB+ offer!

Probably the ultimate Sunday experienceโ€ฆA trip to a lush and luxurious desert island resort just a 15-minute boat ride from Abu Dhabi. This beautiful and exclusive resort is on many peopleโ€™s Abu Dhabi bucket lists for good reason.
