Everything you need to know about visiting Abu Dhabi in February
Take me back to January | Jump forward to March
Abu Dhabi enjoys mild winter days in February. Towards the end of the month, temperatures gradually increase, heralding the start of spring. It is an ideal time of year to visit Abu Dhabi for pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and plenty of sporting and cultural events.
February 2026 will see the start of the holy month of Ramadan, due to begin on the 17th February, subject to the sighting of the new moon. This should have minimal impact on your visit, with most restaurants and cafes remaining open throughout the month. Eating and drinking outside of licensed premises is, however, still strictly prohibited out of respect for Muslim residents who are fasting.
