News announcement from The Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee
The 16th Al Dhafra Festival is set to take place from 28th October 2022 to 31st January 2023, as part of the emirate’s camel beauty contest season.
The event will be held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Organised by Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi, the festival aims to preserve and develop heritage activities, enable camel owners to continue the tradition of breeding and caring for camels and highlight the role of the camel in the UAE’s culture.
