Night markets and community events in Abu Dhabi are a wonderful way for both Muslims and non-Muslims alike to come together during the Holy Month of Ramadan and share in the serene evening atmosphere.

In this guide, we will summarise the best family-friendly evening events in Abu Dhabi where you can experience the spirit of Ramadan in 2026 (18 Feb to 19 March 2026).

Ramadan Nights at the Park

Ramadan at Umm Al Emarat Park will offer a serene setting for families, featuring Oud Music, tanoura shows, and storytelling sessions throughout the month.

Come to the park at sunset to see the traditional firing of the cannon, then enjoy the Ramadan Garden Iftar menu curated in collaboration with Emirati Chef Mariam Al Mansoori.

On Friday and Saturday, Market at the Park will return with a later session, running from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Peruse the shopping stalls filled with handicrafts and tasty traditional bites, then join in the fun of a Ramadan-themed park scavenger hunt at 9:00 PM, as well as lantern making and Hakawati (storytelling session).

Cinema in the Park will remain a family fixture on Friday and Saturday nights from 7:00 PM in the Children’s Garden.

Opening Hours: The park is open daily from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM during Ramadan. Market at the Park runs from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM only on Friday and Saturday nights

Note that the normal gate entry fee applies in addition to the iftar, if purchased.

Ramadan at Al Hosn

Come to see the traditional firing of the Cannon at Qasr al Hosn, then stay for an evening of entertainment in their Ramadan-themed majlis. Enjoy food and beverage stalls, entertainment, and interactive activities from stargazing to poetry.

Opening hours: Starting from 20 February (F&B, Retail starts 27 February) through to 22 March 2026

Yas Bay Waterfront Nights

Head to the Arena Plaza at Yas Bay Waterfront during the Holy Month and over Eid to enjoy an array of live entertainment and Ramadan treats. There will be wellness classes every day as well as a kidโ€™s zone from 8.00pm until 10.00pm and live music at weekends.

Grab suhoor at one of the permanent waterfront venues and enjoy complimentary Ramadan beverages as you stroll along the waterside.

Note that this year there is no Ramadan Market at Yas Bay Waterfront.

Opening Hours: 19 February through to Eid Al Fitr, 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM daily

Layali Al Qana

Explore a charming village-style experience featuring beautifully designed huts, each hosting a unique activity. Enjoy Ramadan storytelling, lantern making, live oud music, calligraphy, and a henna artist.

Ramadan Nights at Cultural Foundation

For a chance to connect and experience the true spirit of Ramadan, head to the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation where youโ€™ll find live performances, workshops, childrenโ€™s crafts and activities and a stargazing experience.

Entry is free with paid activities.

Minimum Age 5 years.

Ramadan Arcade at Manarat Al Saadiyat

An event aimed at youths and run by the Abu Dhabi Department of Tourism and Culture, this is where you can celebrate the spirit of togetherness in a modern setting.

The event features a mix of arcade and board games, tournaments, live instrumental performances, a comedy show, a Ladies Only Majlis, art installations, and creative workshops. You’ll also find a wide range of Suhoor options.

Al Forsan Fun Fair

Although not directly a Ramadan event, this new Fun Fair at Al Forsan coincides beautifulluy with the Holy Month for evening entertainment. Expect food trucks, shopping kiosks, fair-style rides, along with a Ferris wheel.

Al Seef Street Food Iftar

Enjoy strolling between the stalls at the Andalus Al Seef every day from 6.00pm for an on-the-go street food iftar. Enjoy everything from classic Spanish paella, to gourmet burgers and more! The 150 AED entry fee includes Laban and dates as well as dishes from any 4 of the live cooking stations on site.

Lammat Ramadan Abu Dhabi

Lammat Ramadan Al Ain

Head to the Oasis city of Al Ain for celebration of community and culture from February 20th until March 1st. Laamat Ramadan will take place at the Al Ain Exhibition Centre and will include cultural activations, live performances, and interactive experiences. Children will enjoy a variety of workshops as well as face painting, storytelling and puppet shows.

Entry is 20.00 AED. Tickets are available in advance from Platinum List.

It is important to remember that Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection and togetherness. While these Abu Dhabi Ramadan events are by no means limited to the Muslim community, please be mindful that you are attending a religious occasion in an Islamic country.

Whilst it may come across as โ€˜business as usualโ€™ these days during the Holy Month in Abu Dhabi, please be mindful when attending a Ramadan event that you are; dress appropriately for the occasion and refrain from eating and drinking around those fasting until after sunset.
