Your 2024 guide to kids’ summer entertainment
If you’re working full time or running out of ideas for indoor activities in Abu Dhabi, these summer camps could be the perfect solution where the kids will not only be entertained, they can learn some new skills and make some new friends.
Whether its just for the occasion day or you want to book by the week, let’s spark their imagination and keep the kids active this summer at one of these unique Abu Dhabi summer camps, offering a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
We have provided you with all the information we’ve received from the various venues but please confirm exact age groups, pricing, and inclusions with the camp provider as they may be subject to change. Most summer camps in Abu Dhabi run Monday to Friday during the normal school hours but where this is variable, we’ve mentioned.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi
The newest theme park on Yas Island is offering an exciting opportunity for kids this summer, based around the ocean and it’s inhabitants. Their educational program includes guided access to the park daily, an eduatainment program, plus kids receive their own tshirt, branded bag, notebook, pen & bottle, along with lunch and snacks.

Al Qana Summer Camp
Another one for the animal and science lovers as you’ll have activities based around the National Aquarium in Al Qana. The daily activities will extend beyond just the aquarium, though, with opportunities to flex their mental muscles at Pixoul Gaming and get active at Adrenark Adventure.
Plenty for the sciene loving brain with micro planet experiments to creating slime and erupting volcanos. Throw in scavenger hunts and arts and crafts for great all round experience in Al Qana.

Island Adventures – Circuit X
Kids on the Island Adventures Summer Camp get to enjoy all the Circuit X attractions this school break, including the Splash Park, pool, beach activites, kayaking, ziplining, skateboarding and biking across the indoor and outdoor venues on Hudayriyat Island.
You can book by the day or by the week and sibling discounts are offered.

Abu Dhabi Summer Sports
One of the few camps that caters to your high school kids, too. ADNEC has been transformed for the summer months into a huge mutli-sports venue which kids will get to experience during the summer program. Run by Atomics Entertainment, you can register by the day, get a limited number of days or select the full season pass to mazimise your enjoyment and opportunites to find new sports.

PASS Abu Dhabi
Renowned local football academy PASS is offering two weeks of sporting fun including football, fitness and basketball at their camp to be held in the 321 Sports indoor dome, Hudayriyat Island. This is another one your slightly older kids can get some enjoyment out of, too.

Motion Sports Academy
Hosted at Active Al Maryah, this is another wonderful option for sporty kids in the giant indoor dome on Al Maryah Island. The program will include gymnastics, dance, games, fitness challenges, slong with arts and crafts for a great all-rounder opportunity for kids living in the city.

Al Forsan International Sports Resort
Always a great place to come for a wide variety of sports activities from horse riding to swimming, trampoling, laser archery as well as arts and crafts.
This a great all rounder camp that will keep the kids busy and active in Khalifa City. They also take your slightly older highschoolers too.

Zayed Sports City
Always one of the best active camps in the city, this year it looks like there are two camps being run by different oeprators:
Wolves Zone summer sports camp revolved around boxing, wrestling, Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. In addition, kids can enjoy arts and crafts, bowling, story telling and educational games.

ZSC Kids Camp 2.0 Powered by HARAK Fitness will provide kids with a great mix between arts and crafts workshops, fun games and sporting activities.

Jump Sports Academy
Ideal for your future gymnasts looking for an intense training camp to work on their skills. Held at their indoor venue at Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium & Sports Hub, they welcome all levels of experience for this special one week camp.

Bounce Summer Camp
Ideal for kids with lots of energy to burn, plus they’ll get the opportunity to master some flips and tricks! Its not all trampolines and action, they’ll be running team work and science activities, too.

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
This year they’ll be running their camp in two halves with July dates dedicated to their theme “Under the Sea” and August “Safari Adventure”. Their program follows five pillars: Sustainability, Culinary, Arts and Creativity, Well-being and Exploration.
The program includes outdoor activities using their superb lazy river, stand up paddle, kayaking and play ground time as well as nature-based arts and crafts.

รcole Ducasse โ French Pastry & Culinary
A unique camp in Abu Dhabi for kids who want to work on their culinary skills. A shorter afternoon activity with weekly themes, held at the Cultural Foundation there are sessions for children and teens, as well as a parent & child class options.

Snow Abu Dhabi
The newest icy sensation to hit town in Reem Mall, Reem Island. Kids can enjoy daily and weekly passes with a varying schedule of events on each day.
Activities will include Snow Park rides, treasures hunts, team building exercises and movies at Vox Cinema. Lunch and snacks are included.

Emirates Park Zoo
A unique opportunity for animal lovers, a great choice for families who live further off island and are seeking something interactive for little animal lovers. Kids will join in with animal welfare sessions, handicraft projects, sustainability workshops and plenty of animal presentations, plus a chance to go swimming in the resorts’ pool.

Mandara Summer Camp
The Mandara Club is the perfect place for your horse-loving children. The indoor equestrian club will teach kids not just riding but horsemanship, safety and grooming, as well as crafting time and lunch included.

Pop In & Play
A great one for little Lego lovers to fill their days, as well as their normal “Pop in and Play” hourly program, you can take part in full day activities, and even sign up for full weeks. There will, of course, be Lego building, as well as art sessions, video games and fun-filled parties.
Venues include Reem Mall, WTCAD and China Centre (other smaller venues in Galleria and Yas Mall only operating their normal drop in sessions)

Kidz Factory
One of the most budget firendly indoor options (though do note, its a few hours shorter than many camps). At KidzFactory they specialise in engaging arts and crafts along with science experiments and fitness sessions, rock climbing and ziplining will be on offer.
They have locations at Dalma Mall and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.

Perfect for budding artists, 421 are running two week-long programs this July perfect for creative kids in their unique renovated warehouse venue in Zayed Port.

The Club
