Travellers flying to Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways can now enjoy an extra layer of peace of mind. The airline has announced that eligible international passengers travelling on Etihad-operated flights between July and December 2026 will automatically receive complimentary medical travel insurance for up to 15 days during their stay in the UAE.
The initiative is being offered in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Daman, with no separate application required. The cover is included automatically with qualifying tickets for guests whose journey originates and is booked outside the UAE.
The new benefit is designed to make visiting Abu Dhabi even easier, giving travellers added reassurance while they explore the emirate’s world-class attractions, beaches, culture, and entertainment.
As always, visitors should check the full terms and conditions and ensure they have appropriate travel cover for the entirety of their trip.
