Resident and visitors alike to Abu Dhabi were filled with delight at the news that resort pools within the Abu Dhabi Emirate could start to re-open from 16 July 2020.
Under stringent new hygiene standards set out by The Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT), resorts may open their swimming facilities to both in house guests and paying daycationers. At this stage, not all facilities may be reopened such as kids slides, but we’ll keep you posted!
.@dctabudhabi issued a circular detailing precautionary measures that must be taken to reopen swimming pools in hotels in #AbuDhabi, including ensuring that employees are virus-free through testing, and ensuring that swimming pools don’t exceed a maximum capacity of 50%. pic.twitter.com/8PXHvzEfj5— مكتب أبوظبي الإعلامي (@admediaoffice) July 17, 2020
